Christmas Card Ideas

Making your own cards might not be ideal if you’re a person that sends a sack full each year but it could be nice gesture to make some for close family and friends if you want to make them feel special. It does take a bit more time to make cards and I think it’s the ideal activity to do with the kids or on your own with a favourite television program and a glass of your favourite tipple! Perfect excuse to chill out after a hard days shopping if you ask me! Here’s a few of my ideas. Please feel free to share your own in the comments below!

  • Recycle. The backs go in the recycle bin and I keep the front of my Christmas cards every year. You can cut out pictures and make a collage, used foam pads on the back of pictures you’ve cut out or simply reuse the front like a postcard and add a stand on the back

  • Sprout humour. There’s always that conversation about loves spouts and who hates them each year. I found a picture of sprouts in a newspaper supermarket add.
